I have always been interested in cancer research, and Memorial Sloan Kettering is one of the top cancer centers in the world. For me, deciding on a graduate school was easy. I knew the research environment at Gerstner Sloan Kettering would provide me with the best opportunity to do truly meaningful cancer research. I’m interested in both translational cancer research and microscopic imaging. Luckily, my current project combines both of these passions to allow me to better understand the role of immune cells in fighting aggressive breast cancer. When I’m not in the lab, I like to play soccer on the public fields in New York City. People from all over the world meet up there and play for hours.
