We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic scientists at all levels with diverse interests in cell signaling, immunology, and inflammation biology.
We are actively looking to fill the following positions:
Graduate Students
Our lab welcomes interested graduate students from any of the eligible graduate programs (Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Weill Cornell Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis program, and the Tri-Institutional graduate programs) to join for rotations. Graduate students interested in a research rotation are encouraged to contact Alex Gitlin directly at [email protected] to set up a meeting.
Postdoctoral Fellows
Fully funded postdoctoral fellow positions in the Immunology Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, are available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern the nature and magnitude of inflammatory responses. Cutting-edge tools, including CRISPR-based genome editing in primary immune cells and in vivo models, proteomics, genomic screens, and advanced imaging techniques, will all be deployed toward the goal of uncovering novel principles underlying inflammation biology and innate immunity in health and disease.
Qualified applicants should have expertise in immunology, cellular biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, proteomics, stem cell biology, signal transduction, computational biology, or advanced imaging techniques.
The Sloan Kettering Institute offers postdocs subsidized housing and a competitive salary. Interested candidates should contact Alex Gitlin directly by email at [email protected] and provide: (1) a cover letter, indicating current and future research interests; (2) a curriculum vitae, including publications; (3) names and contact information of three references.
Clinical Fellows and Residents
Clinical fellows and residents are welcome to join our lab. Preference is given to individuals with prior research experience. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Alex Gitlin directly at [email protected] to arrange a meeting.
