Cristine Salinas

Nicole was born and raised in Texas and received her BS in microbiology at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. From there, she worked as a research technician for Dr. Lora Hooper at UT Southwestern before moving to NYC to join the IMP program in 2022. She now works as a graduate student in the Hohl lab studying how innate cellular immunity protects against GI infection with Candida albicans. In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing games and spending time with her cat and husband.
