Together with my colleagues in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Counseling Center, I perform clinical research about quality of life, symptom management, and patient-physician communication for patients with brain tumors. I also participate in an interdisciplinary effort at Memorial Sloan Kettering to treat and study patients with histiocytic disorders such as Erdheim-Chester disease and Langerhans cell histiocytosis. My colleagues on this team include Drs. Raajit Rampal, and Mario Lacoutoure.
I'm a neuro-oncologist at MSK. This is a doctor with special training in cancers that affect the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. This includes brain tumors and central nervous system tumors.
I'm an early drug development specialist, which is a scientist who tests new drugs to treat cancer. I have special training in research studies, also known as clinical trials.

Dr. Diamond took his time with me. He was not in any rush. He listened patiently and answered ALL my questions and addressed any of my concerns thoroughly.
I think that Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center does very well to coordinate your team of care as a patient. I love, love, love Dr. Eli Diamond. I love Morena. I love his team of coordinators and care members. I've always felt valued. I always felt that my health is most important to them. I do not feel like I am just a patient with an ID number or a medical record number, but I am humanity who has others who really care about my overall health and even my life span. So I'm totally, totally grateful to be in the care of Dr. Eli Diamond, Morena, and his exceptional team. Thank you.
Dr. Diamond and his fellow were both extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind during this scary time in my life. They treated me with respect and went the extra mile reviewing my case, coordinating with my care team at UPMC and providing reassurance about my treatment plan.
Everyone from check in, blood draw, nursing & Dr. Diamond were caring, professional and could not have been better. CUDOS to MSK.
Our first visit with Dr. Diamond was incredible. Not only is he so smart, but his bedside manner and the way he explains difficult concepts so that they can be easily understood was amazing. Although I never wanted to be on this journey with my son, I am certain he is in the best hands possible to treat his disease.
